My mom didn't cook AT ALL but my best friend, back when I was in school, her dad LOVED to cook and would always take time to teach me. I'd find myself going over to her house every weekend and all summer just to spend some time with her dad...lol
ReplyDeleteMy fiance is my favorite cook. He has opened my eyes to lots of new foods that never tried and never thought I would. He cooks every night and I am happy to let him do that too....lol He was a chef for 8 years.
ReplyDeleteMy mom, she is the best, cause even after having cancer she never gave in. She continued to do it all...Cooking, cleaning, everything. We were very young at the time, she was only 36 years old. My mom my hero, my inspiration...I thank God everyday for having her in my life.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma was my favorite cook in my life but I haven't seen her in a long time, so I would say my favorite cook in my life right now is myself. I have been trying to eat healthier. I want to lose weight but don't want to be on a diet. I think I should make healthy eating a lifestyle. So in the past couple months, I have started to learn how to cook different meals. I have stopped going to take out or restaurants completely so I have had to learn a lot of meals and fast.

my grandmother, she made the best pies. she would spin them around cutting the crusts with a fork like a pro. all us kids would sit around the table in a race to catch the scrap dough and we would play with it for hours!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is my favorite cook. Even though she's perhaps not the best cook in the world, her food is cooked with love and you can taste it! I wouldn't pass up her cooking for anything, not even Olive Garden :)

I don't have a Pinterest account, I really haven't read upon it. I hope this does not disqualify me. Thanks for this awesome giveaway...
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother on my mother's side was the one that taught me around the kitchen. She always cooked the best meals 3 times a day. She was still cooking at the age of 98 when she passed away.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandma was a Great Cook and I miss her. Thank you. Jerri Davis
ReplyDeleteMy Great Grandmother (Rest her soul) is the one whom taught me all her secrets of the old country. I cherish everything I was able to learn from, as it is a lost art in these times.
ReplyDeleteShe always made three meals from scratch a day, enough to feed an army. She had fresh cookies and small cakes ready every day for afternoon tea.
She IS my inspiration in everything I do.

I would have to say my fiance is a great cook! He is always trying new things and throwing stuff together and it always seems to turn out great. We spend alot of our time together in the kitchen trying new recipes and competing against each other to see whos food is better. Sad to say the kids are our judges. LOL! They usually say they are both good.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is my favorite cook. I still call her for some of the recipes she made for us as kids.
ReplyDeletemy favorite cook is my husband. he loves to try new recipes and he hopes to open his own restaurant one day.
ReplyDeleteMy mom was always my favorite cook growing up. Now that I am grown though, I enjoy cooking and baking with my daughter. She is only 3, but I can already see the passion in her, and I want to help her learn everything I know, so that one day she too can share the wonderful bond in the kitchen with her children.
ReplyDeletemy grandmother is my favorite cook. she can make anything out of nothing

My grandmother. She is a great cook. When I was younger we'd go over for Sunday dinners and they were delicious.
ReplyDeleteMy great grandma was my favorite cook. When she passed she left me all her recipes. No one in the family likes to cook but me. I'm teaching my daughter how to cook and bake now.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cook was my grandmother. She cooked all kinds of things from scratch every day. Unfortunantly she did not live long enough to teach me her recipes and she didn't have any of them written down so I have to try my best to recreate them. It is just not the same.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is my favorite cook. My parents got divorced when I was young and it was my brother and my mom and me for a long time. I watched my mom cook and talk to her in the kitchen. She taught me. Now that I have my own family I cook for them. I still call and ask my mom questions. I cook with my mom in my kitchen now. I love my mom so much!
